The time has come to make some big changes!
Effective June 1, 2023, EMB has become a totally wholesale business. This change allows us to focus on our wholesale growth, and ultimately be able to reach more customers in need of our 100% GF - without all the weird stuff - fresh baked goodies.
We recognize that this may be initially inconvenient, but we are confident our customers will embrace it. Rest assured, we will continue to fill the shelves of our local retailer partners with your favorite gf loaves, buns, flatbreads, and more as we make room for this growth. We have reached out to our current partners including French Broad Food Coop, Ingles Markets (exclusively in the bakery freezer at Weaverville, North Merrimon Ave., and 29 Tunnel Rd. locations), Mother Earth Food, and West Village Market, Madison Natural Foods, and Wild Market to make them aware of this change as well. We encourage you to check out and support these local businesses and find all of your gf fav’s!
For those of you looking for a custom cake, we are referring folks to Butterbugs. Wendi is familiar with our recipes and gf protocols. She would love to help you!
We would like to sincerely thank each one of you for all of your support over the past 10 years! EMB began with a vision to provide WNC with gluten free breads and pastries. You all have supported and encouraged our growth through your online orders, farmers market visits, word-of-mouth recommendations, loyalty to locally owned retail partners, and patronage to local restaurants and coffee shops. We could not be more grateful, and we hope that you continue to support us in all these ways as we grow!

Delicious! All good, but my favs are the hamburger buns and sweet treats! Don't have to do without (good) bread even if you are GF!
